Bells? Warning the British? WTF?!?!

“You realize that you messed up about Paul Revere, don’t you?” “Fox News Sunday” anchor Chris Wallace asked the potential 2012 presidential candidate.

“I didn’t mess up about Paul Revere,” replied Palin, a paid contributor to the network.

“Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there. That, hey, you’re not going to succeed. You’re not going to take American arms. You are not going to beat our own well-armed persons, individual, private militia that we have,” she added. “He did warn the British.”

Politicians and human beings, PLEASE, if you’re wrong, just admit it!!!! Nothing makes you look worse than being unable to admit you were wrong, especially when it’s something that doesn’t really matter. If she admitted she had made a mistake I don’t think this would be such a big deal right now, but because she’s insisting she’s right and “I know my American history,” after CLEARLY being wrong it makes her not only look like an idiot but also a real menace to our country if she so chooses to run, and then wins, the presidential candidacy. It’s this type of mentality, the inability to admit when you’re wrong or admit that you may not have the answer at that exact moment that scares the shit out of me. Maybe this is the line all politicians need to walk, but the problem is you start walking that line so you can move up the ladder, but once that type of thinking becomes your norm you forget to be human and the worst part is you start believing your own bullshit and insisting others are wrong because there is no fucking way you could be wrong. And the best bullshitting bastards are the ones who make it into the top offices most of the time. Fuuuuuuuck!!
